Joh'Vonnie Jackson--MJ's half sister. I missed it because I'm a hip-hop dancer, and we had a show to do tonight, but after reading this article, idk...I guess I feel kind of bad for her.

http://www.gossiprocks.com/forum/latest-gossip/112503-michael-jacksons-secret-sister-johvonnie-reveals-her-pain-being-shunned.html?styleid=30

I have six brothers and sisters. And if my father had an affair and produced a half-sibling for me, I would hold animosity towards him, yes. But I'd like to think that I would recognize that this was my half-sibling and we both share our father's DNA. In the article, Joh'Vonnie says that she was very close to Rebbie, but that Michael was cold towards her (chalk that up to human nature, I suppose).

I know that no family is perfect, and the Jackson siblings have a right to be hurt and angry.....but don't you guys think that shunning her is pointless seeing as she can't help what her mother and father did?

yeah i feel bad for her also, it's not like she can help where she's born. I also think a lot of the animosity has to do with the fact that Michael had a very bad relationship with his father Joe and so her being associated with Joe and not Katherine wasn't helpful for Joh'vonnie. Michael didn't have much compassion for Joe so why would he have any for his child, I'm not saying it's right but it's understandable. Also, I read that Michael had a lot of issues with the fact that Joe treated Joh'vonnie so affectionately with hugs etc. that really upset him because he said that he nor his siblings were treated this way.

And to the first answerer it was Katherine, Janet, and Randy who went I think when Janet was around 14 and beat up a woman who worked at Joe's record co. because Katherine thought he was having an affair with her

I think they're having another interview with her tomorrow night which i'm gonna miss unfortunately so if anybody can post about that it would be nice...

She definitely has Joe's features.

Anyways, yeah I do feel kinda bad because it's not her fault that Joe had an affair. If it's true that Michael was cold towards her, I think I would feel the same way. It just reminds you that your father cheated on your mother, which would bring a lot of pain. And she gets the better personality from Joe? I'd be really cold too. But, I do feel bad about her situation with the family, it was Joe's decision to do what he did.

I heard that Katherine, Janet, & Marlon (i think) jumped a woman that Joe was cheating on her with, is that true?

If so, Go Katherine! lol

EDIT: It's true. lmao.

Yeah,I do feel bad for her. That would be a horrible situation to be in.However,I can also sort of understand how Michael would feel that way toward her,but I think he could've been a bit nicer.

The bottom line is,I can see how she could feel rejected by MJ,just as I can see how MJ would feel, well hurt by his father.Neither of them are wrong for feeling the way they feel.

If they ask why, tell em' that it's human nature.

Also you're a hip-hop dancer?That's cool:)

yup i don't blame Michael if what Joh'Vonnie said is true, about how Michael had been cold towards her.

She however has the link and relate to the pain contributed to Michael's family. I faced a similar situation like this, I know how does that feel, it's easier said than done for outsider saying that we should recoginize our half sibling, we share same DNA etc...

Mm, no I missed it as well. Hopefully it'll be uploaded somewhere though. I do feel bad for her and I do think it was a little creepy (not in scary way but a mean way) that he would act cold towards her. However, I can kind of see why he would feel that way. It seemed like he was a bit jealous of her because Joe showed her the love he never showed him.

I mean i feel bad for her, but she should stop acting like she;'s so surprised.

I can get why other siblings would get so upset.

They have to call him Joseph, while she calls him daddy.

why is she acting so clueless? I mean didn't she hear that they were abused by him.

I get that it's not her fault, but she can stop acting so dumb of the situation.

There she is trying to feed off her half brother's fame.

They don't like her because they almost feel like she's his favorite.

To be honest I'd feel the same as them. My mom has the same situation...

It is human nature, they're probably paranoid of her and everything.

if my father had a secret love child, i would have animosity towards him/her too. i mean i really dont know if i would be able to just welcome them in the family and be buddies. ure right, i guess it is just human nature. but it seems as if joe loved this child more or at least he treated her better than he treated his other kids which is why mj , janet, latoya, etc, didnt like her. it wasnt her fault of course but i can't blame them for feeling that way towards her. i know i would have felt the same way.

I dislike Joseph and I feel sorry that she has him for a father.

Mother was a strong woman indeed.

EDIT: You can call me Ms. Jackson, I don't mind. But I don't find it fair that she gets to call him Daddy while we call him Jospeh, get our *** beaten back in the day and get thrown into the wall for missing a note.
