He has two rings on the left side of his lip and i'm just curious as to what it is called. or if there is even a name for it.

Two lip piercings right next to each other are called spider bites, just like how one lip piercing on both sides are called snake bites, and if they are on the top lip they are called angel bites. :) Then there are ones I don't really enjoy like two on your tongue are venom bites.

Two lip rings on either bottom side of the mouth, like Ben's, are called spiderbites.
