Did Patrick Swayze die?

Question

My mom told me today that Patrick Swayze had died yesterday (1/14/08). Is this true? I can find no news reports on the subject and I know he went into the hospital for pnemonia last week sometime.

The only thing I can find on the web are questions from others dated 10 months back asking if he died.

Any help will be appreciated.

No, but he's in the hospital and still continues to battle with cancer.

No, Patrick Swayze did not die. Your mom is either ignorant, or just seeing how gullible you are.



If he did die, trust me, it would be ALL over the news, internet, etc. Everywhere you go, you would see that he died.



You not being able to find anything about it is obvious enough that he is still alive.



Last we heard, he went to the hospital for pneumonia.

No, he had to be admitted to the hospital last week because he was finding it difficult to breathe. Due to the chemotherapy, his immune system was weakened. He developed pneumonia, which in turn, makes it much easier for the cancer to spread. Last I read, his pancreatic cancer had spread to his brain and lungs. Doctors estimate that he has a very slim chance of survival (10-20) percent, and that he may only be with us for 6 months max. So his days are very valuable, but I'm still hoping for a miracle for the sake of his loved ones.

Patrick is alive so far. Ricardo Montalban died today, and someone named Patrick McGoohan died yesterday.

No he's not dead, but he's working on it.. We all will die someday. I've never been a fan of Patrick Swayze..



I know smoking is not good for pancreatic cancer and he still continues to smoke.
