Is it unfair to compare Daniel Craig to Sean Connery?

Question

Since Sean Connery was the first and original Bond then its not really fair to say that anyone would be better then him..BUT i do really feel that Craig is almost right up there with him

what do you think?

I think it's fair to compare, but I agree that it's unfair to say that no one will match Sean Connery ever. I think that Daniel Craig is a better action star than Sean Connery.

I still consider Sean Connery the best, but if Daniel Craig has 1 more really good movie, then he possibly takes it for me.



I like all the actors who have played Bond (except Lazenby). I think they're all really good, and pretty much tied with Sean Connery, but Daniel has a descent shot at being the best!

In my opinion, Sean Connery was the best probably because he was the original. I do think it's unfair to compare Daniel Craig to Sean Connery though because they both had their own interpretations of the character were both really good!

I agree with Erica and Leila, you can't really compare them. Sean Connery was pretty much the first Bond and therefore created the most recognized and original portrayal of the iconic character. Craig has created the hard boiled Bond we need. Take Batman for example, Nolan's interpretation is darker and "realistic" compared to Adam West's portrayal, the interpretations were for different generations and different eras.

connery is a legend, a class act, a huge name to live up to. craig is second to connery for me as the leading bond men.

i became very inspired with Craig....dazzling activity as Bond, James Bond...for perfect ever I could desire to nevertheless supply connery the nod, he became so good in all his bond video clips...if craig makes 3 or 4 greater especially much as good as on line casino royale he gets my vote.
