But in Michael Jackson's live, he had a mouse as his best friend in his childhood, because he hadn't friends to play, laugh and other things. And Joe Jackson, his father, killed his mouse (who have the same name: Ben) with kicks in front of the boy. Was terrible.

The song was written for the movie Ben, it was a horror sequel to the movie Willard. Willard was about a man who trained up a team of rats to follow his commands and kill someone for him. One of the rats in the movie was Ben, who eventually turned on the man, Willard.
