How do you get invited to the Oscars?

Does anyone know how this works? Does anyone know how many seats there are in the theatre?

Yes. Become a wonderful actor, director, screenwriter, etc. Show up and win an award or not, still invited.

You'll have to be in the industry. Actor, producer, director or anything like that. A celebrity. And of course if you're nominated.

Or you have to be a seat filler. Those are paid people who fill in seats when someone wins.

I think everyone there is a member of the industry in some way & then they get to bring guests
