Who would win in a real fight, Jackie Chan or Jet Li?

I think the answer is obvious but my friend thinks Jackie Chan. He says Jet Li wouldn't be able to catch him. Wouldn't that mean he is running away from the fight? And isn't Jackie a girl's name?!

Definitely Jet Li despite Jackie Chan does not use any stunts in his movie but he is more an entertainer than a fighter. Jackie Chan is not answering the question directly since he already knew the answer that Jet Li is going to win. That may or may not mean that Jackie Chan is running away from the fight. Furthermore, it also depends if Jackie Chan was answering that question in English or Chinese, for if he is saying that in Chinese, meaning might be lost in translation. While if he said that in English, he might not mean that literally...English is not the first language of Jackie Chan. I came across many guys in Asia called Jackie. To them, there are still their other names in their month tongue language!

Jackie Chan would win. He would because he was trained much better and has a black belt in the best school of Martial Arts in the world. He is also much younger. Saying that Jet Li couldnt catch him means that Jackie is too fast. Jackie isnt a girls name in Asia. Thank you for reading this answer.

They both have plenty of martial arts accolades working for them...it would probably be a really great fight. (I would pay to see it myself) I am inclined to think that Jet Li would win but I don't think it would be a landslide victory. Jackie has the higher rank of the two but lets face it, he has taken one hell of a beating in that time. Jet is greatly skilled and younger so he has an advantage there but he probably has much less pain tolerance in comparison to Jackie. It would be a great fight to catch.

Jet Li only because he's younger faster and he seems to be more disicplined in the matter he conducts himself during his fight scenes. Jackie Chan seems to be clumbsy and over his 50 years of life semed to have lost his re-action skills.
