I was told that Steve Irwin is known to be a strange man.
So my questions are
- DO YOU CATEGORISE STEVE IRWIN IN THE STRANGE CELEB LIST?
- How would you define 'STRANGE'?

I categorize him in the "Let him rest in peace" category.
He was a good man. A real good man, and I get real ticked off when someone insults him.

No I don't think Steve Irwin is strange at all. He was extremely passionate about everything to do with conservation and living creatures on this planet.
He was an excellent dad to his 2 kids, and was just generally passionate about the things in his life that were the most important to him.
I think his death is a tragedy as he really was making a difference to conservation and the rescue of all living creatures around the world.
It's a shame there aren't more people in this world like him.

As an Aussie, I went to school with many who were like Steve Irwin. They were all strange.

First, he is not an "is," he is a "was."
Second, I wouldn't have referred to him as "strange," but instead "passionate" & "original."
Strange implies negativity and Steve Irwin didn't display negative energy, only positive and upbeat energy, although a little over the top, still positive.
Just my opinion.

2007-05-13 20:41:27 UTC
no he's not strange- he may be strange according to peoples percerption of the word strange but to him and his family he may not be strange- I would say he's a unique guy with a great personality and it's sad to see that enthusiam for animals won't be seen quite like that in anyone else.
Actually he's alot more normal than some other celebs

_Was_ a strange man. He's dead. Stabbed in the chest by a sting ray. Crikey!
He was only strange because he did things that others might say were insane.

No he was not 'strange'. He was a person who was passionate about the environment and its creatures and was a person lucky enough not to care what other people thought and act true to himself.

No i categorize him as dead.
But I didn't think he was strange when he was alive. I thought he really got a kick out of what he did, and who wouldn't he got paid to be a big animal loving kid. I would love that job.

it truly is somewhat unhappy that he died so youthful with plenty to stay for and plenty extra of his sturdy paintings to do, he become a brilliant guy whether somewhat loopy with all those frightening animals he touched, the worldwide would be a sadder place with out him.
