Any David Bowie fans?

I love david bowie and have all his albums. I love them all to death except for when he was with tin machine.

I'm looking for recommendations of other artists similar to him. The problem with that, is he doesn't have a definite genre. He's moved in and out of many genres mixing and matching. So it's hard to say who he sounds like or even what his sound is. So i'll explain what i'm looking for.
When bowie writes a song his chord structure is always well done, and he tends to lead with the bass. His melodies are really creative and unlike the norm. And he knows how to blend a variety of instruments. There are always so many different sounds and solos from various instruments in each song. He really goes above and beyond in music. If you know anyone else like this...let me know!

Mott The Hoople are pretty similar. He wrote All the Young Dudes for them.

Also Iggy Pop and/or the Stooges.

Queen are a bit similar.

david bowie did a lot of collaboration with Queen. Queen is more of a glam rock band and david bowie is kind of a psychedelic rocker turned glam rocker.



Also Sonic Youth is pretty good sounding, if you are in the mood. If you want to look up good music, "Superstar" by sonic youth
