I just saw the news on yahoo. how sad. I hate to hear that anyone has cancer.
This is going to be a battle for him and his family. When I read it I started crying (I know I'm a baby) but He was the first love of my life. I watched Dirty Dancing when I was 14 years old and fell in love. I still watch it over and over. and now my 17 year old daughter watches it with me. can't get enough. I love all of his shows but Dirty Dancing and Ghost are my favorite. Good luck to him and his family.
I will be preying for them.
the source from the guy above is a really good one check it out.

It has been confirmed that Patrick does have pancreatic cancer. This type of cancer is known to be one of the deadliest and has taken many lives. It spreads fast. A percentage of 4% of people diagnosed with this type of cancer survive up to five years. Nobody can say for sure what his life expectancy will be, and nobody can say whether or not he will be lucky and be part of that 4% to survive. Doctors are saying that they are optimmistic and that he is responding to the cancer treatment.
Keep him in your prays.

His survival rate is 20% for one year. His tumour is growing to quickly to be removed so they are relying on medication treatment. It really doesn't look that good, you have a 4% chance at 5 yrs. Very said indeed he has been married now for 30 yrs.

He's not, or at least not yet. He has pancreas cancer, but it's not terminal.
