Does anyone remember when Frank Skinner was last funny ?

He used to do loads of comedy quiz programmes (a bit like 8 out of 10 cats) and was sharp witted and funny.....
Come to think of it David Baddiel isn't funny either...not since Newman and Baddiel......is anyone still reading this ?

For a comedian to host a chat show can be difficult but in this modern age there are lots of scriptwriters involved in any comedy project.



So, to be fair, you cannot just say Frank Skinner is unfunny, it can be the fault of the material, not just him.



I can speak from experience, I went to see a recording of that awful Anne Robinson "what's the story with..."



I had seen it on TV and thought "it can't be that bad"



Well, the jokes were awful, Anne Robinson and Marcus Brigstocke were awful and the questions were moronic.



At least Frank Skinner is funny and asks probing questions.



But good point, he does not do any stand-up but what about those world cup podcasts? were they funny ?

it's one of those tv moments from hell.

admittedly he's not the best but him and baddiel will always be held in high regard in england after they released three lions.

as for newman and baddiel, i always thought they were a poor man's vic and bob. does anyone remember punt and dennis too?
