Steve Jobs?

It has been recorded that just before Steve Jobs died, he said the following:

OH MY GOD. WHAT IS THAT? WHAT IS THAT? WOW! WOW! WOW!

He then passed away. Is this prove that there is life after death? Steve Jobs obviously saw something or someone just before passing. What do you say?

Mona Simpson, sister of the late Apple co-founder, reveals details of the final moments Jobs spent with his family said he had just looked at all of his family then looked past them and said "Oh. Wow.Wow.Wow."

He did see something. and by the sounds of the news story it was said with wonder, not fear!

I believe his sister wouldn't have spoken of this, had it not been true!

I believe in the afterlife and know from people giving first hand account stories of having gone to heaven. I believe in my heart that heaven is for real. I have also heard people say from first hand account experiences that they have been reincarnated and remember actually being someone else from a previous life. One example was a boy who was three years old and remembered serving as a soldier in world war II and was killed in combat by a huge missile. If that sounds correct. Anyway there is a lot we do not know about spirituality and what's happens to us when we die until we actually reach that turning point in life.

That’s not enough to prove that an afterlife exists. There’s no way to know for sure if what he saw was a hallucination or if it was indeed real. Many would say it was just him hallucinating as he was dying but others would say that what he saw was real, likely depending on their personal beliefs. In my opinion it’s very likely that nothing will ever completely prove or disprove the existence of an afterlife. I don’t see how you would find out for sure without dying yourself in which case that if there’s an afterlife or not you’d either be dead and in the afterlife or there’d just be nothing so you wouldn’t be able to prove or inform those still living anyway.

If that story is true--which is highly doubtful--it's not proof of God. The same thing happens to everyone when dying. We hallucinate cultural norms. Hindus have been reported to see Krishna or Shiva upon having a near death experience. Christians, no surprise, see Jesus. It's just the brain being deprived of oxygen.

He must have seen the angels of death come for him. He came into contact with the unseen and the unseen world.

Yep. That's proof I've been waiting for.

He actually said Oh wow, oh wow, oh wow as he looked at his family. Most likely it was the effects of the heavy dosages of morphine he was given to ease his pain.

Clearly, Mr. Jobs saw Charon, ready to ferry him across the River Styx to Hades.

When your blood stops flowing normally and your blood stops being oxygenated normally, the brain immediately reacts. So I would assume that whatever reaction his brain was experiencing that he had a moment to speak about it. Maybe his vision was fading out or he saw psychedelic patterns, et cetera.

Death is not something that we accurately know about.

Ok, these are polemics, and no totally certain. That can be part of the process of the mind in that condition.

No, it just means that before he died, someone showed him the new iPhone.

Lots of people report seeing, hearing, smelling things in near death experiences. It's what happens when your brain starts to become starved of oxygen.

None of them come back with the winning powerball numbers.

even if he did think he saw something, how would you know it wasn't just an hallucination brought on by his rapidly deteriorating condition

it's interesting that so many people have reported near death experiences involving "tunnels of light" and what not, but it doesn't actually prove anything

That happened to my grandfather once. He was gravely ill at one point in his life. Even had to go to a hospital. My grandmother was in the hospital and he was 1/2 dead already, he suddenly looked at the window, and said: "Jesus! It's Jesus Christ!" My grandmother started crying because she thought he was dying and going to heaven.
