Did Michael Jackson record new songs for the tour he was about to venture?

I heard something on the news last night about some never before heard songs that he recorded that are probably going to be worth millions now, due to his death. I don't think he was going to do them on tour, though. I think it was more of an old classics tour; he wanted to give the fans what they wanted- Off The Wall, Thriller, Bad, etc. He might have been planning on throwing in about 3 of the new songs on tour, for a surprise. I really hope whoever owns the rights to those songs will release them on a new album soon. all of you idiots who said, "michael jackson is dead" didn't understand the simple question. She meant, while he was still alive, did he record songs for the concert tour.
