Why are the Lindsay's and Britney's not locked up?

I don't mean in jail, I mean in rehab.

They're not generating money or even good publicity right now so why are their entourages not stepping in? Put them in locked up rehab for a year or at least untill they realise there is nothing for it but to sober up and sort out their problems. There is no way six weeks is enough to get you right and definitly not if you come out into that sort of celebrity glare.

I know stars have been patched up by their entourages for financial purposes but in these cases surely they've hit rock bottom, career possibilities cannot be great so why does no one step in?

I know they have to 'want' help but when you're in so deep can't someone else step in?
Surely someone must be strong enough to say to them 'I don't care who you are, you need help and you're staying put till you get it'.

there is no such thing as bad publicity and you would be amazed at the money they are generating by acting stupid the more they show their hoo hoo's the more the magazines and TV stations will pay to have a glimps and do you have any idea how many sicko men bought or stole or borrowed Paris' sex video...they are making more money acting like idiots than they are trying to make something. what I dont undertstand is....what can Paris do??? she cant sing or act....how did she become famous anyway? Whatever they will suck money out of the average person more and more with every stupid move they make!!

properly lidnsey lohan could be calling the photos and be going mad! Nicole Richie and Paris Hilton could die of anorexia and Britney Spears may be the "*****" becuase she could understand there is hair on her haid and cant get it off in penal complex

No one in their lives really care about them. There parents are party animals who feed off their fame.

They are basically pimped out. Look how many people cash in, even the paparazzi make cash off them. It's more profitable to have them out of control, it feeds the media hysteria.
