I'll go with David Ruffin, although Ollie Woodson has a greater vocal range. But all three lead singers and let us not forget Paul Williams (he was the original lead singer - but Berry Gordy thought David Ruffin should always sing the leads) brought something distinctive to the Temptations songs.
