buy or sell: Kanye West made Taylor Swift's career?

well maybe not made it but helped i mean ive barely heard of her until the little incident and now shes everywhere and i feel she is just getting pitty. I would've thought Lady GaGa or Beyonce would've won album of the year at the Grammys. but maybe its just me. what you think?

P.S. someone probably asked this before but i haven't been here for a while so srry.

Taylor Swift's album was already the top selling of 2009 way before the whole Kanye/MTV/Beyonce stunt.



Taylor's career was already successfull before the entire stunt also. If anything, Kanye helped boost her career and album sales even more because the people who had no idea who she was, were just a little more curious.

If you don't listen to country or a Top 40 station, you wouldn't have heard of Taylor Swift. I'd heard of her when her debut album came out, which was a couple of years before Kanye. So I disagree with that. She is a young woman who writes all of her own songs, they relate to everybody in some fashion, and "Fearless" was the top selling album of 2009. So I definitely think she deserved her award!

Geez. Get over it already! Long story short: think what you want BUT BEFORE Kayne even pulled his stunt with Taylor her record was #1 of 2009, as well as her tour. People that don't like her just put the blame on Kayne because they don't wanna believe people liked her before that. Do some research... she was on top of the world before that. I mean, HELLO... she won the VMA that night BEFORE he did that... what does that tell you?!
