Question:
Is there anyone left who believes Michael Jackson never molested children?

Because I'm a fan, and I believe he's innocent. It's so hurtful to see people on here constantly mentioning that and making fun of him for it, especially now that he's dead.

Plus, let's get the facts straight. In one case, he was PROVEN innocent in a court of law. It was only in the second one that a settlement was reached, and even that does not mean that he did it. I think the accusations really hurt him and broke his spirit. Anyone who saw him back then can tell how weak and frail he was. I think that was one of the first things that led to his recent passing.

But back to my question. Is there anyone left who still believes that he's innocent? Anyone besides me care to stand up for his life and legacy?

I believe he's innocent. For one, he was acquitted of the charges, meaning there wasn't enough evidence, and two, the kid that got "molested" came forward and said it was just a stunt for his money.

Also, his former wife said Michael wasn't a sexual person. To be honest, I think he still had the mentality of a child. He used to write songs in his tree house. He loved kids, because he was robbed of a childhood of his own. Kids have sleepovers; it's not a sexual thing.

I also believe the accusations broke him, not just mentally, but financially as well. I can't believe people would do that to him, that family should be ashamed of themselves.

I'm not going to believe that he was innocent just because he was Michael Jackson. You have to give me more than that. Because of his own poor perception and judgment, he didn't make himself look good at times.

There are however plenty of people with no reason for bias who thought that the whole thing was pretty shady and that greed was a big motivation. There is a fake article going around the Internet, purporting to be a 'confession' from Jordan Chandler. But he did take his father to court three years ago on 'physical abuse' charges. Jordan was the first accuser of MJ btw.

Anyone who ever met Michael... well, some say they thought he was a bit odd. But nobody ever seems to say that he was deliberately mean or rude to anyone, he always treated others with respect. You don't get that often with celebrities - many of them turn out to be arrogant arseholes in real life.

I firmly believe he did not. I would forever remember Michael Jackson for his moonwalk and the charity work that he did, and the fact that he is an extremely talented musician who wrote and composed almost all of his songs. Michael Jackson was no ordinary man, he's a superhero. He broke 13 Guinness world records, contributed to 36 charities and won 19 grammys in his lifetime. He's a pop legend, who should be ranked alongside stars like Elvis Presley and John Lennon. On top of that, he should be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for his humanitarian efforts. I can't seem to get enough of MJ, his face, his voice, his dance moves. MJ is the BEST forever! Nobody would be able to replace him as the next King of Pop. He will forever be alive in the memories of his fans. I shall love him till the end of the world. Music is universal. I don't care whether he's black or white. MJ's music is colourless, which is why he is so popular all over the world. He was not a molester. It's the media that portrayed him as a freak and a monster. It's so unfair to him! He is not a paedophile. It's the media that paints him to be. He just loves children because he himself is a child at heart.

I love all his songs, but the most memorable has to be Childhood, which is a rather sad song that kind of reflect his thoughts about his own childhood.

News update incase you haven't read this yet.. The family that accused MJ for child molestation...

Jordan Chandler, 13 in 1993, claimed that Michael Jackson and himself engaged in sexual intimacy

like kissing, oral sex and masturbation. His father, Evan Chandler, sued Michael Jackson. Jordan Chandler told police and a psychiatrist that he shared sexual acts with Jackson.

Michael Jackson made a civil suit settlement with Chandler for $22 million. Jordan Chandler refused to testify in the criminal proceedings against Jackson. The Chandler family used the money to buy properties

After Jackson’s death on June 25 2009, Jordan Chandler has been quoted by some reports as confessing he lied about Jackson. Jordan Chandler said he lied about Michael Jackson molesting him because his father told him to. The Chandler family’s motive was money.

Michael Jackson’s ordeal lasted from 1993 - May 2005. The state’s criminal trial and verdict were concluded in May 2005. Michael Jackson was declared innocent of the charges.

I believe and a lot of my friends as well. Since the first accusation i have always said that i just could not see someone that loves people as Michael Jackson does every harming another human being. I was I am and I will always be a fan of Michael Jackson. You know people in the media are so god awful some times and they play devils advocate to turn things around to make them sound like they want them to sound. But key is that you as a person has to really listen to hear.

In my honest opinion, I don't think he did it!! I just believe he really liked to be around kids sometime because they are innocent and do not judge a person and I think he felt with all the criticism he had recieved in his life that possibly kids are really honest and like people just how they are and I think that was his way of keeping away from the hateful people of the world.

i dont. but i guess my vote barely counts...all the accusations and whatnot were made around the time i was born so I didnt grow up knowing him. But now, knowing his history and seeing the man in action, I just can't get myself to believe he did it.

And no offense, but being proven innocent in a court says nothing. OJ was also "innocent". I guess we all have to go with our intuition though, right?

I also believe he is innocent. I think he was perhaps too naive and thus put himself in a vulnerable position on more than one occassion. This guy was truly great.

Michael deserves to be remembered as the King of Pop.

Ok, I know that someone died and all and im not saying this to be mean, but im pretty mad at some of his fans. They are saying how they 'love him and care about him and he will always have a special place in their hearts', in my opinion, the only people who should say stuff that sincere is his close friends and his family. Everyone dies, people die every single day and no one is bawling their eyes out about it. It makes me want to publicize the death of one of my family members when they die and see if people start friggin crying their eyes out. It's not like everyone who is crying about it knew him personally. If they did, I understand completely, but they didn't! I guess I am just super mad at those fans because their are babies and children who die every single day because they didn't get their lunch that afternoon. It's not like he was poor and had a horrible life. He was rich and famous.

Please don't take this in any offense anyone, I am not making fun of anyone and I am not trying to be mean it just pis*es me off when I think about it.

i've never believed it, as Michael was too child like and innocent.

apparently, the kid who accused him had now fessed upto that his dad made hime lie about Michael touching him. If feels guilty and can't believe Michael's died without him saying sorry.

yes i strongly believe that hes innocent. he loved children and was just fascinated by them as they are living the childhood that he missed out on. he never wanted to grow old.

besides... hasnt the kid who accused mj come out with the truth that his dad made him say it to get money.

I do.

In todays uptight society it is hard for people to be nice and friendly to children without being accused of rape or child molestation.

He never did.

Why give so much $$$ to children only to molest them?

I don't think so...
