I hate to say it but to some degree i agree with Howard Stern, boy i never thought i would say that, but he is right about Al Sharpton.
Imus didn't owe Al Sharpton an apology he owed one to the girls on the basketball team but he never should have been fired.
We have free speech i guess as long as it doesn't offend Al Sharpton or Jessie Jackson

First of all Imus or as he should be known Anus, is a racist, time and time again he shows how unaware he is to the sensitivity of the issue of race relations, Stern was once again re-iterating what he already knew and was backed up by Lisa G, who also worked for imus (no capitol he don' deserve) and restated his domain as a d*ck.
imus is a withered old man with no real point of view accept the old south KKK like understanding of today.
F imus, Howard and Fred did great impressions of imus and having worked side by side with imus see a repeat pattern.
imus racist
Stern parody of the horrible world of racists, see the difference? I do.

I agree with Howard - no one, including Don Imus, should have answer to Al Sharpton.

Radio personalities like that have contracts, and being fired doesn't break the contract .
I don't doubt he'll keep getting his ten million a year for the duration of his contract.
Does anyone take that clown seriously anyway? I hate that he got all this media attention from his stupid remark. He doesn't deserve it. He didn't deserve his job in the first place. He's a product of the media that brought him down. It's a shame getting rid of him also has to be a blow to free speech. His remark was offensive yes. But when you start to restrict offensive speech, it ain't long till you restrict ALL speech.

i agree with stern what ever happened to free speech in this country? after all Imus learned those slang words from BLACK RAPPERS they used those words in every song when a white person used them it became catch 22

I agree with Howard. I hate Imus but should he kiss Sharpton butt...No. He should have stood his ground and talked more to the media.

I believe in the right free speech, too, but Stern takes it to an unheatlhy extreme. There is also a right to remain silent.

I don't like Howard Stern. I never like what he says but I will defend his right to say it. He is a very stupid and petty man who covers it up with "humor".

stern is right-why do you need to apologise repeatedly? once or twice and that's it. and sharpton is a racist, hate-mongering opportunist who has no problem spreading lies and causing death with his abhorrent rhetoric but gets his panties in a wad when some obviously ignorant shock jock says "nappy headed hos". how the blazes did that ghoul get to be a reverend, i have no clue...

Did not Al Sharpton get in some trouble way back for racist comments about white people?
I agree what Stern said about Sharpton. The guy is desperately trying to get attention, I would never appologize to him for whatever is said. But on the other hands I would never called any one "napped headed hoes". What was Imus thinking?

I didn't see that either, but wow. I think he is right, i don't think people should put up with Sharptons one sided crap.
If everyone ignores him maybe he will shut up. We can only hope.

As soon as you said "Howard Stern", my ears started to bleed and I had a seizure.
No, I didn't. And I woulda turned it off. May Mr. Stern and Mr Imus enjoy each other's dead air time and zero listeners on satellite radio forever more.
NOBODY calls my girls "ho"---I will jackslap the def jam upside yalls head....NOBODY!

Though I think Stern is often full of shite, that was one of the smartest things he's said in a long time.
Imus should have taken his advice.

Sorry,
There is no such right of free speech on the radio for personalities.
People have this so twisted.
That's what the FCC governs.

These so called shock jocks have little character in my book ...I would not give any of them the time of day! What is this generation thinking? Do they have any sense of integrity ,,modesty or scruples? Come on grow up and spend your time on things more worthy.... Junk goes in junk comes out!Think about it....
